Thanks to you and everyone else who had attended or helped out we had a great event - The Vampires Ball.
Blood Moon 2009 - the Vampires Ball was a huge success! We collected lots of money for the Humane Society and everyone had a great time.
It's late October and the moon that hangs over Resurrection Cemetery has tak
en on a sinister aspect, staining the night sky a bloody red. A chill wind begins to blow and the veil between this world and the spirit world gr
ows ever thinner. A gossamer mist clings to the ground and curls around the gravestones. From the midst of a grove of cypress trees an eyrie creaking sound is heard. Suddenly two cloaked figures appear and hand in hand they make their way out of the darkened burial grounds...
This is our annual Halloween extravaganza and charity event. Each year we pic
k a different theme - this year it is the Vampires Ball. There will be a buffet including beverages a silent auction & raffle plus entertainment - featuring the exotic belly dance troupe "Lykiska" with a show put on by Venue Specialty Services. Proceeds from the silent auction and raffle will benefit the
Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
